FREE SCHOOL MEALS KS1
As you will be aware, all children in Year R, 1 and 2 are entitled to a free school meal as part of the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.
There are 2 main meals and a jacket potato option each day, with a 3 week rotating menu. There are also a number of theme days which take place throughout the year.

Please encourage your child to have a school meal at Swallowdale as all the meals are cooked on site using fresh ingredients. Of course the meals are free for all KS1 children. If you have a child in KS1 and you are in receipt of income support please do not forget to apply for Free School Meal status.
