Friends of Swallowdale (FOS)
Supporting our school and creating extra opportunities for our children
We’re a friendly group of parents, carers and staff who meet to plan events and help raise funds for the little extras that make a big difference to our children and their experience in school.
Recently, with the support of you all, we’ve helped provide:
- Over 400 new books for children
- Enhancing the library spaces
- Large outdoor learning structure in KS1 playground
- 16 new picnic benches
- School sports kit
- School banner
- Ice Cream Van on Sport’s Day
- Support for school trips and enrichment activities
- …and so much more!
How we raise money
We raise money by organising events each year that we know our children love such as school discos, family bingo, rainbow raffle, cake raffles, pop up shops and themed treat bags around Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
Could you help?
We’re always looking for new people to get involved. You don’t need to join a committee or make a big commitment. Whether you can spare an hour at an event, bake a cake, share an idea, or simply support our activities, every little bit helps.
